We last left off at the ugly incident of laptop theft that left me morally shaken and technologically lost. Well, I’ve had it. I’m done with the pity party of missed information. In other words, I’m back. And on a mission. A very specific one at that. I will try my best to join the ranks of others celebrating NaBloPoMo and test my hand at 30 (grueling and possibly torturous) days of straight blogging. So there. No excuses. Just typing. Bear with me as the content may get thin. But hey, I tried.
Since the national election is just around the corner, why not take your pick of candidate theme songs. Or better yet, songs inspired by the candidacy. Note – While this year’s theme songs have been predominantly manufactured for one candidate, it does illustrate a new wave of inspiration from musicians to not only let politics influence their songwriting, but to let their songwriting influence politics. We’ll see if this continues in coming campaigns.
