My co-worker just gave me a new CD ( to be reviewed, just you wait) that he burned at home. Since it is of the less than legal type, I got no track names, no artist, no nothing when I popped it into Steve Job’s looking glass into my music habits. What to do with the “Track 1″ phenomenon, particularly if I don’t know what “Track 1″ really is? Well, all it really needs is a TuneUp – some genius program that feeds off of “iWant to suck up your whole life” and sorts out all of the mayhem of distributed music missing critical info. No more lost track names, album covers, or genre’s. You want more? Fine. They’ll throw in concert searching for your library AND a sneek peak at what else you can learn about your favorite artists on the web. Not bad if you have a lot of co-workers who like to give you semi-pirated material.

Stream Me Baby!
NBC is using Steve Job’s baby to push their agenda. Or at least their programs. But for free? Que? Yeah, their fed up with the iTunes model too. And now, with wifi, the thought of free streaming TV show may make sense. When the wifi speeds pick up, I might even think about it. But until then, the idea of streaming TV shows instead of downloading, saving it and paying for it seems much more appealing.
